Atlantic Canada Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Awards Show

Ulnooweg Development Group is pleased to announce the 5th Atlantic Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Awards Show to be held in 2010.

As the hosts of this event, Ulnooweg welcomes the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the Aboriginal business successes in Atlantic Canada. Ulnooweg believes that celebrating these accomplishments are an important part of the process of building stronger economies for our future generations.

In the past four years Ulnooweg has presented awards to 42 Aboriginal Entrepreneurs, 6 Band Enterprises and 4 Economic Development Officers.  In total, there have been well over 150 Aboriginal businesses and individuals nominated!

We hope that you can join us in 2010 to celebrate the success of Aboriginal entrepreneurs and also to learn more about the unique opportunities that Aboriginal businesses have in Atlantic Canada and abroad.
 

The awards event:

  • Recognizes outstanding business successes in various categories
  • Provides networking opportunities amongst Aboriginal entrepreneurship
  • Provides federal, provincial and private sector agencies the opportunity to enhance existing relationships as well as providing updated information on programs and services available
  • Provides an opportunity to network with the business community and forge new partnerships

The Awards of Excellence recognizes accomplishments in various categories such as:

  • Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  • Four Provincial Business of the Year Awards
  • Cottage Craft Business of the Year Award
  • Band Enterprise of the Year
  • New Start Up Business of the Year (under one year)
  • Economic Development Officer of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
