Our Valued Partners
At Ulnooweg, we rely on the power of partnerships to advance our objectives of supporting Aboriginal communities, youth, and entrepreneurs. Our valued partners include:
Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat (APC)
The APC Secretariat is an advocate for speaking with one voice on behalf of First Nations communities. Through research and analysis, we develop and table policy alternatives for matters affecting First Nations communities in Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Maine, USA. APC is governed by a board of directors comprised of the Chiefs.
With the support of the First Nation communities in Atlantic Canada, APC Secretariat follows a relationship vision that concentrates on partnership and cooperation, government to government relationships, dialogue and education, quality of life, and self-determination in First Nations Communities. In order to accomplish this, APC works closely with community members and leadership to get direction by providing all information in order that communities can make informed decisions.
After a longstanding partnership, Ulnooweg and APC signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in June of 2017.
Three Things Consulting (Msit No’kmaq Tall Ship Project)
Msit No’kmaq – translating to “All My Relations”, is a wonderful opportunity for the select 45 Indigenous youth from across Canada that set sail for a 25 day journey. During this journey from Nova Scotia to France, the youth will be engrossed into a sail training program that will connect them and their communities in this leadership and skill-building experience. Ulnooweg is proud to have been a part of this exciting opportunity.
